What is Katre?

Katre is a biannual journal of social sciences published by Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture. Its primary aim is to answer varying questions concerning humanity and existence through engagement with the Risale-i Nur Collection and elaborating its perspective. The famous Risale-i Nur collection, authored by Bediuzzaman Said Nursi,  is a contemporary exegesis of the Qur’an with a focus on currect challenges mankind faces. Through building an alternative platform via discussions of the
Risale-i Nur; the questions concerning humanities’ life and existence as well as his
search for truth will be conducted within this paradigm.
